The feeling of the shock wave is a highlight, which makes every visit to our tunnel an experience. With the live blasting demo "Big Bang 4d" we put one more on top.
A film is projected onto a large rock face deep in the mountain, where the blasting process is explained. The countdown is running, the guests are eagerly waiting for the bang and then the time has come: Ten detonations, the pressure wave and a projected rock face that collapses into itself.
It is a "superficial blast" with real dynamite to create a shockwave, but no rock is blown up. The blast is approved by SUVA and is safe. Pregnant women and people with tinnitus should not watch the blasting and rather have a coffee in the restaurant.
