Network
The Underground Future Lab Community continues the collaborative spirit established through the former SCAUT Association. While preserving the strong relationships and interdisciplinary exchange that characterised SCAUT, the community expands its reach to connect a broader international network of researchers, industry, start-ups, public authorities and investors committed to advancing underground research and innovation.
From Idea to Innovation
We connect companies, researchers and other innovation stakeholders with the right expertise from across our network. Whether you are looking for a technology partner for a new solution, a research partner for a development project or experts for a specific challenge, we create targeted connections.
For example: Finding a suitable university partner for an R&D project · Connecting with technology and industry partners · Exchanging ideas with experts at networking events
We help turn initial ideas into concrete research and innovation projects. Together, we identify suitable partners, funding opportunities and project approaches, bringing relevant stakeholders together at an early stage.
For example: Developing a project idea with industry and academia · Building a consortium for an Innosuisse or European funding application · Participating in a joint research or flagship project
Our network combines expertise with the research, testing and demonstration infrastructure of the Hagerbach Test Gallery. Partners can develop, test, validate and demonstrate new technologies and solutions under realistic conditions.
For example: Full-scale testing of a new technology in the underground facilities · Validating a product under realistic underground conditions · Access to VSH experts, testing services and training
We offer partners opportunities to showcase their collaborations, projects and innovations within The Underground Future Lab network and beyond – digitally, at events and directly at the Hagerbach Test Gallery.
For example: Featuring a joint project in our newsletter · Presenting an innovation at an event · Partner profile on our website · Logo or information panel at a suitable location at the Hagerbach Test Gallery
