Some of the websites of the Amberg Group companies may use plug-ins for the social networks "Facebook", "Twitter", "LinkedIn" and "Xing" (collectively "social media networks"). We inform you below about how personal data are processed by these social networks.
The Facebook plug-ins are operated by Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94394, USA ("Facebook"). Facebook is a social network of Facebook Ireland Limited (HanoverReach, 5-7 Hanover Quay, Dublin 2 Ireland). Facebook plug-ins can be recognized by their Facebook logo (white "f" on a blue tile or a "thumbs up" symbol) or from the suffix "Facebook social plug-in". For a list of Facebook social plug-ins and details of what they look like, please refer to: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins
Xing plug-ins are operated by Xing AG, Gänsemarktstr. 43, 20354 Hamburg, Germany ("Xing"). You can recognize the Xing plug-in from the Xing logo ("Xing" inscription or an "X" on a green background).
LinkedIn plug-ins are operated by the LinkedIn Corporation, 2029 Stierlin Court, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA ("LinkedIn"). The LinkedIn plug-in can be recognized by the LinkedIn logo ("in" or "Linked in" on a blue background or "inShare" on a white or colored background).
The plug-in from www.twitter.com
(the so-called "tweet button") is operated by Twitter, Inc. 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA ("Twitter"). The Twitter plug-in can be recognized by the Twitter logo (a white "t" on a blue background or a white "bird" both possibly in combination with the suffix "Tweet").
If you call up one of our websites in which a social network (Facebook / Xing / LinkedIn / Twitter) plug-in is integrated, your browser creates a direct link with the servers of the given social network. The content of the plug-in is transferred directly to your browser by Facebook / Xing / LinkedIn / Twitter and is integrated by the social network into the website. We therefore have no influence on the scope of data that Facebook / Xing / LinkedIn / Twitter gather with the help of the plug-in and therefore inform you to the best of our present knowledge:
By integrating the plug-ins, the respective social network (Facebook / Xing / LinkedIn / Twitter) receives the information that you have called up a given page on one of our websites. Insofar as you are also simultaneously logged on to the respective social network, the latter can allocate this visit to your Facebook / Xing / LinkedIn / Twitter account. If you interact with the plug-in–for example by using the "Like" button or by making a comment–the corresponding information is sent directly from your browser to the respective social network and stored there. If you are not a member of the social network it is still possible for the social network to find out your IP address and store it.
At no time do we know which buttons you have used. For details of the purpose and scope for which data is collected, processed and used by the social networks and your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please refer to the data protection notices of the respective social networks (Facebook / Xing / LinkedIn / Twitter) as follows:
You can call up the Facebook data use policy at http://www.facebook.com/policy.php
, and Facebook information about social plug-ins is available at http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=186325668085084
. You may, incidentally, block Facebook plug-ins with add-ons for your browser, for example "Facebook Blocker".

The "+1" interface of the Google Plus social network is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google"). The Google "+1" function integrated into HOTnews can be recognized by the "+1" symbol, a cursive "+1" beside which there is a number. You will find examples of possible integration on the following page: http://www.google.com/+1/button
When you activate the "+1" interface on one of our websites, your browser (e.g. the programs "Internet Explorer", "Firefox", "Opera", "Safari", "Chrome") creates a direct link with the Google servers. The content of the "+1" interface is transferred by Google directly to your browser and integrated into the website. It is possible that in this way your IP address may be transmitted to Google in the USA. The information that a user has given "+1" may be used by Google, for example, in its Google search results, in the user's Google profile, or on Google's social network "Google+". This means that Google displays information that the user has given to Google, for example the profile picture that the user has uploaded to Google and/or the name used in the Google profile. For details of the purpose and scope for which data is collected, processed and used by Google and your related rights and settings options to protect your privacy, please refer to Google's data use policy for the "1+" interface (https://developers.google.com/+/web/buttons-policy
If you are a Google Plus member and do not want Google to gather data about you and link them to your stored member data through our website when you have the "+1" interface activated, you must log out of Google Plus before visiting our website.
If you do not wish data to be exchanged between your web browser and Google you can, for example, install software on your computer that blocks communication with Google computers in general (e.g. proxy software or plug-ins for browsers).
